Been with Teksavvy for 3 years on their rented Rogers cable internet service. First of all, internet speed was very slow to the point I couldn't watch Netflix without pausing randomly. I contacted Teksavvy and it got better a little, but not as advertized. Internet turns on and off often. Second of all, my phone was completely dead for over 3 days. I contacted them and they arranged Bell tech to come, but it was a no show. If there was an issue they were capable of troubleshooting things themselves. Teksavvy doesn't have to staff technicians and they didn't need a large CSR group, which is how you get good prices. Now enter the second wave of Teksavvy clientele, the followers of the original Teksavvy pioneering users.

Mar 13, 2013 · About getting TekSavvy internet I just want to ask around because I am more of the higher tier packages, but I want to know what other's experiences are because Rogers has pretty low data caps and high prices for download speeds, and Bell, I had them previously and it has been more problems for me than being productive.

Teksavvy is pretty good. I had some problems during activation. I called their technical support. They have 24/7 technical support but you will have to wait a least 20 minutes to hear from an operator. Teksavvy couldn’t get my problem resolved so they issued a work order to bell. I got my internet 8 days after signing up. See if Rogers is down or it's just you. Check current status and outage map. Post yours and see other's reports and complaints Shaw internet is a Canadian internet provider, and when having Shaw up in Banff and Canmore areas, the wifi coverage is great, and I can stay on Wifi almost 100% of the time. Their maintenance crew is very nice and polite and they are always willing to help.
